The citizens’ committee tasked with evaluating level of service provided by Chelan County Fire District 5 of Manson will officially meet with Fire Commissioners for the first time tonight.

 

Manson Fire Chief, Arnold Baker, says the committee represents the entire community.

 

Tonight’s Special Board Meeting  is set to get underway @ 6:30 in the Manson Fire Station on Manson Blvd. The agenda includes a presentation from Chief Baker on current facilities in use by Manson Fire.

 

Tonight the committee members will select a chair and vice-chair s well as set a meeting schedule and venue. Commissioners are expected to forally adopt the mission, goals and scope of work for the citizen’s task force.   The meeting is open to the public and you are all invited.
