Fire Crews Quickly Contain Blaze Monday 8/27/2012
Chelan Fire and Rescue, along with Orondo Fire Crews out of DouglasCounty were able to contain a 2-acre brush fire near Lone Pine Fruit and Espresso along Highway 97 yesterday- in just over an hour from the time the fire was reported.
 
Chelan District 7 Fire Chief, Tim Lemon, told KOZI that the call came in just before 8AM Monday morning.
 
KOZI received several eye-witness reports and many photos were submitted that we have posted on our KOZI website at KOZI.COM as well as our Facebook Page.
