The numbers are in- and there is no way to sugar coat it: July was a bad month for the local labor market.
Experts say July was worse than expected, and, although some jobs were created, it wasn’t enough.
Regional labor economist, Mark Berreth, says there was about 9500 job growth in total employment figures since last month- but when compared to numbers from the same month a year ago we are down in the non-farm market.
Labor Stats are monitored and recorded – then released on a monthly basis.
