The Chelan City Council has tabled the proposed parking ordinance for the second time at last week’s meeting and will visit the idea during their August 23 meeting.

 

The proposed ordinance establishes a residential permit system that addresses specific neighborhoods near DonMorsePark and was derived from a recommendation from a task force that was established years ago.

 

City Administrator, Jim Reinbold says the ordinance was removed from last week’s agenda at the request of Mayor Bob Goedde.

 

The issue is set to be on the agenda for next week’s meeting on Thursday, August 23rd starting at 6PM.
