A fish study along the shores of the reservoir behind Rocky Reach Dam is causing quite a stir amongst some property owners and those driving along the Columbia River overnight. ChelanCounty PUD Fish Biologist Jeff Osborne said thought the fish collection method may look like science fiction, in reality the study is state of the art science.

 

Osborne says the fish study, which began a few weeks ago will continue through the month of August. The intent of the study is to gather data that can be used to guide decisions for improving salmon and steelhead survival.
