Manson Near Drowning Victim Released 8/9/2012
Johnny Henning, the Manson man who nearly drowned in Lake Chelan before being rescued by two off-duty lifeguards at MansonBayPark last month, has been released from CentralWashingtonHospital in Wenatchee.

Henning was not breathing and had no pulse when he was pulled from the lake and the lifeguards began lifesaving CPR until emergency crews arrived.

MansonParks and Recreation Director, Wai Petersen, told KOZI in an interview last week that the incident happened after-hours, but while the lifeguards were still on-site.

MansonBayPark is the only lifeguarded swimming-hole on Lake Chelan, and is paid for by the MansonParks and Recreation through a tax levy.
