Winthrop's Possible Land Condemnation 8/7/2012
The Winthrop Town Council gave the nod of approval to look into proceeding with possible land condemnation in order to connect a final piece of the SusieStephensTrail.
 
The decision came during last week’s council meeting- and town clerk, Michelle Gaines told KOZI news that at this point the council is looking into their legal rights after the property owners have failed to respond to any attempts the town of Winthrop has made to get in touch with them.
 
The property, known as the Fodor (FOE-DOOR) right of way, is the sole property acquisition the town has been unable to finalize in the plans for the Susie Stephens Trail Project.
