Chelan City Council is considering the addition of designated turn lanes at the four way stop at Sanders St and Woodin Ave with funds that were originally hoped to be used to widen the sidewalks on the old bridge.

 

Chelan Mayor, Bob Goedde told KOZI that the Public Works Director secured the funding but recently found out they needed to find a new project to spend it on.

 

More details will likely be discussed and decided at the next council meeting, which is scheduled for next Thursday, July 26 at 6 PM in the council chambers on Johnson Ave.
