Evacuations For McNeil Canyon Residences 7/15/2012
Chelan Fire responded to a call of a lightning caused fire about 3-miles up McNeil Canyon Road at about 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
 
Within 30 minutes, with the help of strong winds, the fire grew to more than 20-acres and a second, then third alarm was sounded. Several Districts from Chelan and DouglasCounties are fighting the fire that has caused the evacuation of several residences.
 
McNeil Canyon Road is fully closed at this time.
