County To Host Hearing On Building Codes 7/12/2012
ChelanCounty Commissioners set a public hearing for Tuesday July 31 on proposed amendments to the code regarding development permit procedures and administration.
 
The proposal was submitted by North Central Home Builders Association, who claims current code is “excessive and unnecessary regulation” that has hampered property owners and business.
 
ChelanCounty Commissioner, Doug England, told KOZI that it is a matter of simplification.
 
And that procedure starts with that Tuesday, July 31 public hearing that will take place at 10 am during the ChelanCounty Commissioners regularly scheduled meeting in the County Commissioners Chambers at 400 Douglas St Suite 201 in Wenatchee.
