Less than a month after ChelanCounty Prosecutor, Gary Riesen turned in his resignation; the ChelanCounty Republican Party is accepting and sifting through resumes in the search for his replacement.

 

Republican Party leaders are charged with choosing three finalists by July 27 for the ChelanCounty Commissioners to make the final cut- with an August 1st start date.

 

Candidates must hold Republican credentials as well as attorney status.

 

CountyCommissioner, Doug England, told KOZI earlier this week that GOP committee members are currently soliciting attorneys.

 

The ChelanCounty Prosecuting attorney’s salary is $131,717.
