Recreation Campfires Have Restrictions Too 6/20/2012
The Fire Season is now upon us... 
 
There is very little moisture in the fire fuels around us so therefore a "Closed" burn season status was announced effective June 1 and will remain closed until October 31st. 
 
However recreational campfires are still permitted.
 
Manson Fire Chief Arnold Baker wants those who plan to burn a campfire to remember that although it is allowed- a few restrictions are in place- however, the rules have recently loosened up a bit.
 
If you have any questions about your recreational campfire, you are asked to call the Manson Fire business line at 687-3222.
