Chelan Volunteer Firefighters Graduate 6/20/2012
Chelan Fire and Rescue’s first recruit class of 2012 is set to graduate this Thursday after 8 weeks of training, with more than half of them from the south shore area- where efforts are being made to potentially construct two new fire stations that would be manned by those volunteers.

Chelan’s Assistant Fire Chief, Rusty Stamps, says the graduation marks these volunteers rights to respond to fires in the valley.

The Volunteer Recruit Class Graduation is set for tomorrow at 6:30 at the Chelan Fire Station on East Wapato Avenue.
