New Link Buses Are $1 With Federal Program 6/20/2012
ChelanCounty Commissioners heard a report during their meeting this week from Link Transit Officials that a deal has been secured with the Federal Government that will allow the organization to purchase up to five buses to replace the older vehicles currently in use.
 
CountyCommissioner, Doug England, told KOZI that the program will allow Link Transit to purchase transit buses with 200 thousand miles or less and exchange them with buses with at least twice that many miles.
 
Officials expect to have the new buses in use next month.
