ChelanCounty Prosecutor, Gary Riesen, has announced his retirement, effective July 31st.

 

Riesen has served in the elected position of prosecutor for more than 27 years.

 

Riesen told KOZI news that because his position is an elected position; his replacement will be appointed by the county commissioners.

 

Riesen began his career as a private attorney in Wenatchee in 1976 until 1985 when he was appointed as the ChelanCounty Prosecutor- a position he has held since that time.
