The BrewsterSchool District is celebrating another clean audit after hearing the results during their last school board meeting.
According to the state auditor’s website, BrewsterSchool District has no deficiencies that the state considers to be weaknesses- regarding the districts financial reporting and federal awards.
The State Auditor’s Office strives to ensure the efficient and effective use of public resources, serving the citizens of Washington by promoting accountability, fiscal integrity and openness in state and local government.
Brewster Superintendent, Eric Driessen, says districts are audited on a very regular basis.
The Brewster School Board will continue to meet on a monthly basis through the summer, with their next meeting scheduled for Monday, June 18th in the Brewster High School Library.
