Former Brewster City Clerk, Pam Olson, pleaded not guilty to more than 20 theft charges at a hearing yesterday, and will now face a jury on July 31.
Olson is accused of paying herself without authorization for unearned leave, and issued checks and made deposits to herself from city funds.
Okanogan County Prosecutor, Karl Sloan, tells KOZI news that Olson is charged with several counts of varying degrees.
Olson resigned from her position with the City of Brewster in 2011- and shortly after, an investigation into inconsistencies with the city’s finances was launched.
Olson’s trial is set to start on July 31st.
