A reminder that residential parking passes will again be required for those wishing to park on the streets in some Chelan neighborhoods over the Memorial Day Weekend.

 

City of Chelan crews will be installing barricades on Friday restricting access and parking on Nixon, Allen, Chelan, Lake and Markeson Streets south of Gibson avenue and north of Jonson Avenue.

 

Sergeant Rob Huddleston says if you are entitled to pick up a parking pass- by all means, go get one?.

 

The Residential Parking Passes are just one tool the Sheriffs Office will use to protect the right of Chelan residents to peacefully enjoy the holiday weekend in their own neighborhoods.
