After nearly four decades of working for the Forest Service, 12 of those as Chelan District Ranger, Bob Sheehan is retiring at the end of this month. Bob says his tenure with the Forest Service started back in 1973 and has been very rewarding.
Bobs replacement has already been selected… Kari (CAR-EE) Grover-Weir (WE’RE) will take over duties at the beginning of July.
The Chelan Ranger District encompasses approximately 377,000 acres and extends from near the town of Chelan at the eastern end of Lake Chelan to the Cascade Crest in the Glacier Peak Wilderness and bordering NorthCascadesNational Park.
