Manson's Party Park Turned Family Park 5/16/2012
MansonParks and Recreation District is sticking to its guns when it comes to the rules at their Wapato Lake Campground – and so far- it’s working.
 
During the Memorial Day weekend, the Parks Department bans alcohol from Wapato Lake Campgound.
 
Parks Director, Wai Petersen, tells KOZI news that historically, the campground has been dubbed as a party park.
 
Wai adds that the no alcohol rule is only in effect for Memorial Day weekend.
