Are you tired of the cheap plastic items that are often sold at street fairs throughout the country?
Well, so is the Bridgeport City Council, and they are doing something about it.
With Bridgeport Daze just about two weeks away, organizers are making plans, and some changes for the city’s annual festival.
This year, the Market Square, where vendors gather to sell food and crafts, will have some requirements for participants.
Bridgeport Mayor, Marylin Lynn, tells us that organizers will be sifting through the list of items each vendor plans to sell, and will be turning away those who don’t make the cut.
This year Bridgeport Daze is set for June 1st and 2nd.
The Bridgeport City Council will meet again tomorrow for a regularly scheduled meeting starting at 7 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
