The Farrington Foundation is launching their first ever video contest to all high school students- asking them to create a video depicting what they love about their favorite State Park, and offering sizeable cash rewards to the top videos.
The Farrington Foundation is a non profit organization that was founded in 2005. Its mission is creating and preserving open spaces while opening the minds of all ages to unlimited opportunities in the great American Outdoors by promoting conservation and fostering awareness, ethics, safety and outdoor values.
KOZI’s high school student intern, Cody LaPorte, dug deeper into the intriguing contest that could prove to be financially beneficial.
Videos are required to be 2-5 minutes in length and the contest is only open to students in Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties.
