Pateros City Council passed a resolution to jump on board with Douglas Okanogan County Fire District 15 that will allow both entities to call in the services of Chelan District 7’s Fire Department mechanic.

 

The decision was made during their April 16 meeting, and pertains to fire vehicles, apparatus and equipment owned by the City of Pateros.

 

Pateros Mayor, Gail Howe, says the District 7 mechanic will be available to service the equipment for both Douglas Okanogan 15 as well as the City of Pateros.

 

In the past, Pateros Fire Department would travel to Wenatchee or Spokane for maintenance and service.
