Tomorrow, the ChelanCounty Sheriff’s Department is taking part in the fourth National Drug Take Back Day and asking the public to drop off any expired, unused or unwanted prescriptions and drugs.

 

By taking part in tomorrow’s event, you are ensuring that the medicine won’t end up in the wrong hands, at a time when prescription drug abuse is on the rise.

 

Sergeant Rob Huddleston tells us that deputies will be on hand to offer an opportunity for the public to turn in unwanted pharmaceuticals with no questions asked.

 

ChelanCounty Sheriff Deputies will be accepting the unwanted drugs between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM at the Chelan Sheriff Sub Station on Emerson Street.
