FormerBrewsterCity Clerk, Pam Olsen, has been charged with 20 counts of theft, after several inconsistencies with the city’s accounts came to light from her 11 year tenure with the city.
Olsen resigned from the City of Brewster in June 2011 and an investigation was launched shortly after that.
According to Okanogan County Persecutor, Karl Sloan, the charges are for varying degrees of theft.
Court documents claim that Olsen paid herself without authorization for unearned leave and issued checks and made deposits to herself from city funds.
Olsen is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on May 14th.
