Methow Grant Contingent On Bond Passage 4/16/2012
MethowValleySchool District received notification last week that it was awarded $350,000 for energy efficiency improvements as part of grants made to districts across the state.

But, according to Superintendent, Mark Wenzel, the grant funds will only be available if the $1.8 million bond the school district is asking from voters passes.

In addition to the bond, MethowValleySchool District is asking voters to approve two replacement levies, one is a four year maintenance and operational levy, the second is a replacement technology improvement levy.

Tomorrow is Election Day, marking the deadline to send out ballots in the mail for not only voters in the MethowValleySchool District, but in Chelan and DouglasCounties as well.

Be sure to tune in to KOZI, we will have those election results shortly after 8 PM tomorrow evening.
