With funding from a $4000 Grant from the State of Washington, Pateros School officials are working on 20-year plan to address future needs of the school district. They have hired a project management firm and an architect to create a draft master plan to be presented at a May 22nd meeting with final approval set for August.
Pateros School Superintendent, Lois Davies introduced the school board to the team hired to create the draft plan at last weeks working board meeting.
Davies adds that community, school officials, staff and students have all been involved in outlining and prioritizing a master plan through community meetings.
Pateros School Board is scheduled to meet next on Monday, April 30th at 6 PM at the MethowCommunity Center.
The draft 20-year plan will be available for review at the May 22nd school board meeting scheduled for 6 PM in the high school library.
