ChelanCounty Commissioners moved to continue a public hearing on a proposed noise ordinance after hearing from nearly a dozen citizens at yesterday’s commission meeting in Wenatchee. The decision came after commissioners listened to public input from nearly a dozen citizens yesterday.

 

Commissioner Doug England said some testimony was in favor of the proposed ordinance and some was opposed.

 

England points out that the County already has a noise ordinance but its not getting the job done.

 

The continued public hearing on the proposed noise ordinance is set for Monday, April 16th at 10 AM in the County Commissioners Chambers in Wenatchee.
