Last evening’s 2nd annual Shop Mom & Pop Business Owner Banquet honoring local businesses yielded a not so surprising repeat winner for Best Customer Service, Kelly’s Ace Hardware. Representing Kellys Hardware, Pat Kelly humbly accepted the award for the family owned and operated downtown Chelan business.  The People’s Choice went to Bear Foods and Business of the Year for 2012 is the Apple Cup Café.

 

Mom and Pop Business owners spend countless hours nurturing and growing their enterprises. The workload translates into long and late hours, and many missed family and personal events. They bring different and unique products to the marketplace, and provide stellar personal service.

 

KOZI wants to thank those businesses as well as those of you who shop at them.

 

For the past month we have encouraged shopping local- shopping mom and pop by asking you to sign your receipt and drop it into the cans located at 24 businesses throughout the valley, and on Monday, April 2nd, during second cup, the winners of the Giftbaskets will be announced.
