Five University of Washington undergraduate students spent last week facilitating environmental science lessons to Brewster students as part of an outreach program called The Pipeline Project.
The project offers students from the university community experiences that help them discover personal and academic directions while providing K-12 students with individualized tutoring and college role models.
Brewster Superintendent, Eric Driessen says they have been in a partnership with the Pipeline Project for a few years.
This year, students from the University of Washington spent the week in
Brewsters sixth grade classrooms.
