Kay McKellar, of Entiat, is being honored in WashingtonD.C. next week for a national award in 911 education.

 

Kay is a long time employee of RiverCom, and earned the award as part of the National Next Generation 9-1-1 Institute’s annual ceremony.

 

Jackie Jones, Operations Manager for RiverCom, says the education award is a new category, and is very fitting for Kay, who always seems to find a way to educate people, from citizens to service clubs and groups, on what 9-1-1 is and how to use it.

 

Kay will fly to WashingtonDC next Tuesday, March 27th to be honored in the 9th annual awards ceremony where citizens whose heroism and dedication highlight the critical importance of 9-1-1 emergency communications.
