The Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board of Directors will host two informational meetings this week to discuss the proposed replacement hospital project.
Hospital CEO, Kevin Abel, says the public meetings are meant to offer the public as much information as possible before the August 7th election.
The hospital district encompasses 2,200 square miles, spanning from Wells Dam through ChelanFalls and includes Chelan and Manson up lake to Stehekin.
Abel says that the replacement levy will seek just more than half of the total amount it will cost to complete the project.
Abel adds that although this replacement hospital is a new plan, the need for a larger building is not a new concept.
Again, the hospital replacement informational meetings will be held at 7 PM tomorrow at NorthShoreBibleChurch in Manson and another one at 7 PM on Thursday, at the Chelan Fire Station in Chelan.
