The Three Rivers Hospital Board of Commissioners is one man down following a resignation at yesterday’s special meeting.

 

Bill Bayless, who has served as a hospital commissioner since 2001, wrote a letter stating his resignation, stating the reason as a time issue. The resignation is effective immediately.

 

Hospital Marketing Director Rebecca Meadows, says it’s never easy losing a board member with so many years experience.

 

The new board member will be approved during the April 23rd Board meeting and will serve until the November election. The appointed board member will be eligible to file to run for the remainder of the term, which in this case is 2016.
