Salmon River Scholarship Applications 3/12/2012
The Wenatchee River Salmon Festival is now accepting applications for their annual $1500 scholarship.
 
The scholarship will be awarded to a 2012 graduating high school senior pursuing a college education in a natural resources field, such as biology, forestry, botany, fisheries, geology, ecology or environmental education.
 
Students in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Kittitas, Okanogan or YakimaCounties are eligible for the scholarship.
 
Susan Peterson, Wenatchee River Salmon Festival Media 7 Marketing Director, says past recipients have gone on to be very successful in their field of work.
 
Applications will be accepted until April 16th and can be found by visiting kozi.com and clicking on the salmon scholarship link on the news story.
