The Twisp Police Department is hosting a public forum on Thursday aimed at combating the rise in drug activity in the MethowValley.
Police Chief Paul Budrow says it is just the first step in closing the gap between his department and the citizens who have made it very clear that drug activity is not going to be tolerated.
Chief Budrow says the basics will be covered during the first round of public meetings.
That meeting will be at 6pm Thursday at the SeniorCenter in Twisp. For more information, call the Twisp Police Department at 997-6112.
Chief Budrow says more meetings will be scheduled following Thursday’s forum.
