A sure sign of spring is the re-opening of the VisitorCenter at Rocky Reach. The center closes seasonally from November 1st thru the end of February and re-opened last Thursday to welcome visitors for the 2012 season.

RockyReachVisitorsCenter is offering visitors the opportunity for a close-up view of fish passing through the fishway in the viewing room.

Visitor Services Manager, Debbie Gallaher, says crews have been busy preparing for summer season and are looking forward to steady stream of visitors. Debbie says if you visited last year, she has a special message for you.

The visitor center is open 7 days a week from 9 AM until 4 PM now thru October 31st.

There are guided tours available daily by appointment but Debbie says if it was a last minute decision to visit or if you forgot to schedule a tour-  ask about one.

However if you can schedule ahead of time it is always appreciated. Give  Debbie a call at 661-4960.
