Chelan County Sheriff Brian Burnett, took the opportunity to give detailed changes that have occurred in his first year as Sheriff during a ChelanCounty Sheriff’s Citizens Advisory Committee meeting Wednesday night.
Burnett says they are moving towards a vision that incorporates a more service oriented atmosphere.
Due to budget restraints, the Sheriff’s Office has scaled back from 66 patrol officers in 2009 to 55 today, forcing changes in patrol shifts.
Burnett says his administration is committed to increasing the use of reserves to perform essential role within the Sheriff’s Office.
