The Chelan High School Wrestlers have one more story to add to their State experience after a minor brush with a semi on their road trip to the Tacoma Dome yesterday.

 

The Chelan wrestlers were travelling westbound on Highway 18, near the Tiger Summit when one of the two vans carrying students passed a slow moving semi. The semi shifted left, causing its rear left tire to bump the right side of the school district van.

 

The impact was enough to wake the sleeping occupants, but not enough to cause either vehicle to lose control.

 

The school van pulled over and students were required to call parents to inform them of the minor incident- the van continued to the Tacoma Dome, where ten Chelan High School Wrestlers are taking part in the Matt Classic State Tournament.
