The Chelan Chamber of Commerce is hosting on February 27th featuring Chelan CountyPUD to discuss operation of the Lake Chelan Hydro Project Reservoir on February 27th.

 

The deadline to RSVP for the meeting is next Monday, February 2o.

 

The meeting will offer the public the opportunity to review the first five years of operation under terms of the 50-year federal license that was issued in 2006. Information about the Lake Chelan license will be reviewed and public comment will be taken during the meeting.

 

Director of external Affairs for the PUD, Jeff Smith, says this meeting is a continuation of meetings held last October, and admits they will likely be addressing some of the same questions and concerns.

 

Smith says you will hear the answers to those questions, and much more during that meeting.

 

Again, if you would like to attend that meeting with the Chelan County PUD on Monday, February 27th, you need to RSVP by next Monday, February 20th by calling the Chelan Chamber of Commerce at 682-3503.
