Chelan’s Feed My Starving Children event is just a little over a month away and the excitement is growing. Today marks the first day of registration for those interested in participating in the food packing event.

 

The giant MobilePack event scheduled for Friday March 16th and Saturday  17th,  promises a unique volunteer experience – packing meals for children around the world.

 

Kyle Plew, one of the event coordinators, says the community has really come through to help with this event and encourages groups to register to help pack.

 

Kayla Montealone (MONT -EE – ALONE) says event coordinators are very encouraged by the community support and are very close to reaching their fundraising goal of $24,000.
