The Winthrop Town Council held a regularly scheduled meeting last week and, although they had a light agenda, they did renew a lease and heard an encouraging recycling report.

 

Michelle Gaines, Winthrop Clerk Treasurer, says the lease agreement was on a building used as the Town Hall more than a dozen years ago.

 

A public hearing will be held regarding the Park and Recreation Plan for the Town of Winthrop at their next council meeting which will be at 7 pm on Wednesday, February 15th at the Barn.

 

Draft copies of that plan are available at the Town Hall.
