The Manson Community Council is undergoing some hefty changes in the new year, from a handful of new members to a new approach at communication.

 

The Manson Community Council is elected by registered voters of the Manson Community within the boundaries of the school district. The board gives advice and recommendations to the ChelanCounty Commissioners that represent what the people of the community want and need from parking and traffic to development.

 

Newly appointed Communication Specialist for the Manson Community Council, Cass Hania, says they will be putting an increased effort into gaining community involvement.

 

In addition to the communication effort, Cass adds that the council is considering options for a potential garbage issue with the recent failed bond for MansonParks and Recreation.

 

The Manson Community Council will meet next on Tuesday, February 21st at 6 pm at the Park Office in Manson on Pedoi Street. All community members are invited to get involved at this meeting.
