Watershed Meeting Feb. 8th 2/2/2012
Chelan County Natural Resource Department is hosting a Watershed Planning Community Workshop next week to discuss the draft plan.
 
Mike Kaputa, Director of Chelan County Natural Resource Department, says the Watershed Plan identifies some local priorities for water supply and water quality issues in the Lake Chelan area.
 
Mike adds that specific topics within the plan he expects to be discussed include water quality monitoring, water supply, fisheries habitat management and watershed plan development.
 
Anyone who wants to learn more about the future of water in Lake Chelan should attend the meeting.
 
That meeting will be held next Wednesday, February 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 at Campbell’s Resort in the Stehekin Ballroom.
