The Chelan City Council held a public meeting last week to discuss General Facility Charges and code enforcement.

 

Jim Reinbold, City Administrator, explains that the city is required to enforce city codes, and changing codes is not as easy as it sounds.

 

Another topic of discussion was the General Facility Charge, which Reinbold says was instituted in 2006 when the building boom was going, but admits it is likely ready to be revised.

 

The Chelan City Council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting this Thursday at 6 pm at the Council Chambers on Johnson.
