MansonParks and Recreation board of trustees met on Thursday January 5th to address budget changes needed to operate with considerably less revenue after two failed levy attempts last year.

 

Parks Director, Wai Petersen, says the key is to find a way to operate efficiently with half the budget they have been running with.

 

In addition, Wai says the board has already moved into the planning stages for the next levy, though it is unclear at this time when that will be.

 

The MansonParks and Recreation board will meet next on Thursday, February 9th at 4 PM in the Park Board Room on Pedoi in Manson.
