The BridgeportSchool District opened the first board meeting of the year on Monday swearing in recently re-elected board member Zeke Martinez who was then appointed chair of the board by fellow board members.

 

School Superintendent, Scott Sattler said the board also lost one board member, creating an opportunity for interested community members to join the school board.

 

The board also discussed facility use liability insurance; something Sattler says will likely be implemented in the future.

 

The Bridgeport School Board meets the second and fourth Monday of each month, making their next meeting Monday, January 23rd.
