The Chelan-Douglas Target Zero taskforce finished their holiday DUI campaign that ran November 24th, 2011 until January 2nd, 2012 and have announced the results.

 

Wenatchee Police Chief Doug Jones, says the number of arrests from this year’s campaign were up from last years.

 

Statewide, law officers arrested nearly 4,000 drivers for DUI during this year’s holiday campaign.

 

The extra patrols were funded by a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
