Young adults ages 14 to 20 will soon have an opportunity to become part of the ChelanCounty Sheriff’s Explorer Search & Rescue Unit. Volunteers will receive instruction from commissioned Sheriffs Deputies who are highly trained in search and rescue operations.
Sergeant Kent Sisson, with the Special Operations & Emergency Management Division says the program is designed to introduce youth and young adults to all aspects of search and rescue.
