Sadie Bjorenson, a 2008 graduate from LibertyBellHigh School is making her mark in the world of Nordic skiing.

 

She is currently racing for the U.S. Ski team and says she is looking into possibly competing in the US Olympics, but admits the training schedule is a bit rough.

 

Sadie says she fell in love with skiing at a young age, when her family took to the slopes for an active way to spend time together and they met a local Olympic competitor on the hill.

 

Sadie leaves for Maine on Wednesday where she says they are currently making snow, as they don’t have enough.

 

Next stop: Europe to compete in the World Cup circuit.
