Tis the season… the season for joy and celebration, but also the season for accidental fires caused by careless use of extension cords and faulty Christmas tree lights. Chelan Fire and Rescue Chief Tim Lemon says there are precautions you can take to prevent holiday fires. 
 
Chief Lemon reminds you to give your tree plenty of water to prevent it from becoming dry but if you do see needles drying and falling from the tree, it might be time to remove it from your house.
